In the 21 days birding trip we go through the great, unique habitats and conservancies. The Victoria Basin, Nile River, The Albertine rift valley, the Murchison falls park,(Known as the most powerful waterfalls of the World), The primate capital of the world, the Medley of Wonders Queen Elizabeth National park, Montane forest of the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest which is the home to half of the World’s remaining Mountain Gorillas in the World.

Detailed Trip Program
Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe International Airport
Arrival at Entebbe International Airport and then Transfer to the Hotel around Lake Victoria the Second Largest Fresh water lake and relaxation and Overnight. According to your time of arrival we can get a chance to do Birding in the Entebbe Botanical Gardens that are located on the Northern Shores of Lake Victoria
Day 2: Birding and transfer to Masindi
Early morning Breakfast and transfer to Mabamba bay for the shoebill, Lesser Jacana, white backed Duck, Blue-breasted Bee-eater, Great Blue Turaco. Among others. Later do our road transfer to Masindi.
Day 3: Birding in the Royal Mile
Whole day Birding the famous Royal Mile that will give us chances of the chimpanzee, Blue Monkeys, Red-Tailed monkeys, Elephant shrew among others and return in the evening in time for the night jars and owls. This will overnight us in any hotel of any choice. For the Ituri Specials that only occurs at this corner in the entire East-Africa region.
Day 4: Birding Transfer to Murchison Falls National park
Road Transfer to Murchison Falls national park with a visit to the Top of the falls, the most powerful waterfall on the universe all with a slower pace birding and in search of the Abyssinian regional endemics. Like the Abyssinian Ground Thrush, Red-Winged Grey warbler, Red-throated bee-eater, White crested Turaco among other species. Mammals may include the rare Patas Monkey, The Rothschild Giraffe, The African Elephants, Lions, leopards and the reptile may include the Nile Monitor lizard, The Nile crocodile among other species.
Day 5: Birding and Boat Trip
Whole morning birding in the open savanna and later in the afternoon boat trip and overnight at the same place of the choice.
Day 6: Birding and Road Transfer to Kibaale Forest National Park
Birding and transfer to Kibaale forest and overnight at a lodge of the choice. This trip to Kibaale forest combines the search to both the Green breasted pita and the Relatives of the human kind, the Chimpanzee. This is the primate capital of the world whereby 12 other species of Primates inhabit the tropical forest and live in harmony with the Forest Elephants Among others, Kibaale forest is inhabited by more than 350 different species of birds and of those some are sought after birds on the Uganda list. Day 7: Early Morning Birding in search for the Pita
Early morning walk for the Pita and later in the day relax, then afternoon head on to Bigodi wetlands. We may decide to do a night walk in Kibaale forest to look for the Nocturnal primates that Includes Thomas’s Galago (Galagoidesthomasi), Demidoff’sdwarfGalago (Galagoidesdemidovii), and Spectacled Lesser Galago (Galago matschie)
Day 8: Chimpanzee Trekking Birding in Kibaale Forest National Park
Breakfast at a relaxed pace and head on to the trailhead for the chimpanzee walk that will last for one hour and get back to the lodge thus birding. This activity can be adjusted to suit the need of the participants in the group just in case it happens to be a group Tour
Day 9: Early Road Transfer to Semliki National Park
Have breakfast early in the morning so we can start on our birding transfer to Semliki National park.
Day 10: Birding Semliki National Park
We will spend the entire day birding in Semliki National Park and as well getting a chance to get to the Female and Hot Springs in this same place.
Day 11: Road Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Road transfer to Queen Elizabeth National park. Queen Elizabath is an open savanna and makes us have a chance to try our luck on the Big game and the Birds with the Habitat of Lower altitude in the middle of the Rift valley. It can be hot during the day and most of the time in the car, a part from the boat trips on the Kazinga Chanel.
Day 12: Birding and Boat Trip in Queen Elizabeth National Park
We shall have a morning game drive for the big game and the cats, with continuous birding and then in the afternoon, we head on to sail on the Kazinga channel for the Water birds and other Wildlife that is attracted to the natural fresh water canal that connects the two fresh water lakes George and Edward separated by the 40km canal. Day 13: Road Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park- Buhoma Sector
Game drive and transfer to Buhoma thus birding on the way, birding the home of the tree climbing lions increases the chances of them up in the figs of the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth national park. Tree climbing Lions are the highlight of this area.
Day 14: Birding in Buhoma
Birding the Whole day in Buhoma on the main Trail looking for the localized shorttailed warbler among other species are the one that inhabits the lower altitude.
Day 15: Birding Transfer to Ruhija Sector
Birding and Transfer to Ruhija, on the way we will be able to do birding at the Neck. This famous location hosts the medium altitude species and its one spot not to be missed. The highest altitude of the Entire forest and the main reason to why we intend to stay longer in this area is increasing the chances of the Albertine rift valley endemics as the concentration is at this location, Ruhija.
Day 16: Birding the whole Day in Ruhija
Whole day descending to the Swamp in search for the localized Grauers broadbill, Grauers rush warbler, and more others on the Rift endemic list. Yellow-eyed black Flycatcher, Rwenzori Batis, Mountain Masked Apalis, – Red-Faced woodland warbler among others. Depending on the weather, we can try searching the nightlife species example being the Rwenzori Night Jar and more.
Day 17: Gorilla Trekking and Birding
Whole day of the Gorilla Tracking and latter birding after the Gorilla activity and by any chances, coming back from Gorilla tracking early we incorporate it with the evening Birding and night time activity, this evening we might have a chance to looking for the nocturnal birds and primates as well as mammals, that may Include; Northern Lesser galago (Galago senegalensis) Mountain Gorilla
Day 18 Road Transfer to Kisoro
Road Transfer to Kisoro and on the way birding at Lake Bunyonyi for swamp endemics such as the Papyrus swamp warbler, White-winged warbler, the Victoria masked weaver a race that is still under research to be re-Included after getting recorded as extinct. Later head on to Kisoro as we are birding the environment. Overnight at Kisoro.
Day 19: Birding the Gorge
Head on to the Virunga Volcanoes for more montane endemics. Gorge walk gets us to have another chance to see the Mountain Gorillas and the Golden Monkeys together with the Birds on target. Overnight again in Kisoro.
Day 20: Road Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park
Head out to Lake Mburo National park for more regional endemics such as the Tabora cisticola, the red-faced barbet, the Uganda Woodpecker, the African Fin foot among others. And the Nocturnal primates and mammals, Greater galago (otelemur crassicaudatus) overnight there.
Day 21: Road Transfer to Entebbe
Boat trip on the lake and latter game drive in the open savanna or walking safari and there after transfer to Entebbe as this will mark the end of the tour.
